FYI from Kim Bates
I got to go see Rhianna today (Monday). She was soooo tiny. Nothing at all
can prepare you for seeing a baby that small and no words can describe how
small she was.
She had a good day actually after a scary night. Her oxygen levels were up.
When I got home from Tulsa I called mom to see how she was doing and tell
her I made it home....they were also headed home but were called back b/c
she was doing worse. At 7:43 my dad called me crying (something he doesn't
do ever) b/c she was not doing good at all and was probably not going to
live much longer. My mom finally called me back at 10:30 to tell me she
died at 9:10. I'm sad, but yet I know that Jesus is holding her and she is
no longer in pain. She fought a good fight! She lived 25 hours.
All day this scripture kept creeping into my head b/c of the awe at looking
at such a tiny baby.
All of Psalms 139 but especially v 14 "I praise you, for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made."
I cannot believe that someone can just abort a baby at this time of
development when they are so alive. She had tiny fingers and toes (with
nails) and she would wiggle them.
Thank you for your prayers....they mean so much to me and my family.
No arrangements have been made yet at this time.
