We had some families of church members directly affected by the tornadoes.
Please remember these families in your prayers as they try to put their
lives back together.
* Wayne Brock's sister (Mary Sue Austin) lost her home in the tornado,
and Carol Brock's aunt and uncle (Billy & Lynn Casey) incurred minor home
and vehicle damage, but extensive tree damage.
* The Fryer's nephew also had extensive damage to their home done by the
tornado.

Dear Churches,
1st Let me say THANK YOU for all you have done to help the people of Atkins,
with your donations. We made sure that your donations went directly to the
people in need. Wed. Night we got a call that the lucky landing area, they
were in need of blankets and we were able to go in a deliver blankets that
you sent. Friday afternoon we were able to minster to approximately 50
families with a care package which would not have been possible if it were
not for your donations. The bags had toiletry items, paper goods, food, and
water. We delivered over 75 blankets and packets Friday Evening and started
again Saturday Morning with more deliveries. We noticed that some of the
storm victims would not leave what property they had left, in fear of
looting.
2nd
If any one from your church has done any volunteer work in the Atkins Area
this last week they need to contact us with the names of the people who
volunteered and how many hours they worked. FEMA will pay the tornado
victims money for the volunteer hours that were worked. If you have any
questions please call me. 967-1792 264-2453. We will deliver the list to the
people in charge. The amount of money the tornado victims get is based on
the number of volunteer hours given by people. I need these names and hours
ASAP.
3rd
VBS Clinic has been rescheduled to April 7th place TBA. I should know where
it will be later today. I will let you know as soon as I find out. So please
let your people know that we are unable to have our clinic on Febuary 18th
due to the tornado. Atkins FBC is still helping the Tornado Victims.
4th
Executive Board Meeting is still on schedule for tonight at 7:00 p.m.

made sure that your donations went directly to the people in need. Wed. =
Night
we got a call that the lucky landing area, they were in need of blankets =
and we
were able to go in a deliver blankets that you sent. Friday afternoon we =
were
able to minster to approximately 50 families with a care package which =
would
not have been possible if it were not for your donations. The bags had =
toiletry
items, paper goods, food, and water. We delivered over 75 blankets and =
packets
Friday Evening and started again Saturday Morning with more deliveries. =
We
noticed that some of the storm victims would not leave what property =
they had
left, in fear of looting.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

will deliver the list to the people in charge. The amount of money the =
tornado
victims get is based on the number of volunteer hours given by people. I =
