Please pray for our sister-in-law Wanda English. She was scheduled for back
surgery tomorrow morning to remove a disk fragment from a nerve in her back.
It has kept her bed ridden for three weeks now, but on Saturday she was
admitted to the hospital through the emergency room. She is now having some
serious complications due to the pain meds they have had her on for her
back. We are waiting to hear if they are going ahead with the surgery or
postponing it. Her and my brother Allan English are missionaries with NICS
(network of international schools) and was scheduled to go to Korea and
Japan next week. This mission trip has been cancelled and they are in the
process of trying to get their money refunded from the airlines. Also
Saturday is the grand opening of their new headquarters and my brother's
moving and setting up of his new office was suppose to take place today but
he is at the hospital with his wife! As of yesterday afternoon the doctors
think she may have something going on besides the fragmented disk and the
medication problem. Please pray for them as they go through this very
stressful time!
