They changed David to IV meds on Thurs. evening. The injections were not pu=
tting enough antibiotic into his blood to adequately fight the infection. H=
e was better, but apparently, not as good as desired.=20

The nurse comes around 9:00am and do the IV andthen it takes an hour to run=
and then he will draw blood after another hour.=20
They draw the blood every 2-3 days to check the antibiotic level and check =
his kidney function. It is always just outside the normal range and is a b=
it higher than his usual now. >=20
