Dear church family, 

     This is the latest report on our daughter-in-laws brother who was in a
motorcycle a couple of weeks ago.  We are so thankful for your prayers.  It
is obvious by the following report that the prayers are working!   Please
continue to pray for Shane and his family as he recovers.

Shane is out of ICU and in his own room.  He is doing better.  The
improvements are coming slower now, but they are coming.  Each day he says
more words, recognizes more objects or walks further down the hallway.   He
is relearning to use a fork and he still uses his left hand even though he
is/was right handed.  He continues to do better, and he has some really
great nurses helping him.  We should hear something soon about where he will
be moved to for rehabilitation.  Baptist has an inpatient brain trauma
program so we are praying they will accept him into their program.  They
said it will be 6 months to a year before he will be fully recovered.  Thank
you so much for your thoughts and prayers they are certainly needed, he has
a long road ahead.
