er name is =93Forsythia Donna Williams=94. She weighed 7 lb 9.2 oz & was 20=
 =BE=94 long. Amy went through 21 hours of labor, and at the last minute th=
e baby was delivered by Caesarian Section due to heart rate drop during har=
d contractions. There were complications after birth with the baby=92s lung=
s. The air sacs in the lungs are not fully developed and the pulmonary vein=
s are undersized (reducing blood flow to the lungs). Forsythia apparently a=
spirated fluids during delivery and has pneumonia. Forsythia is currently i=
s taking antibiotics, is on a reparatory and is taking treatments to dilate=
 the pulmonary veins. Forsythia is in serious condition and will be at Chil=
dren=92s Hospital 7 to 10 days, if all goes well. > > Some good news is tha=
t glucose tests after birth did not indicate that Forsythia has diabetes. A=
my=92s blood sugar blood sugar went up for a while today, but appears to be=
 within normal limits now.
