Thank you to all who have been praying for my family the last week. I have
been home (at mom and dad's) since Friday. Carter is eating more and more
by bottle each day, but still has about half of his feedings from a tube in
his nose. He has been off the IV for a few days now. We are able to take
him out of the nursery pretty much any time we want. We either use an empty
room or a classroom in the hospital. Not the best situation, but we are so
thankful he is in town and making progress. Andy flew to St Louis Sunday to
check on our house and get a few things for the family. He also got his
laptop from work so he can work from my folks house until we all go home.
What a blessing that he can stay here and we can have some type of "normal"
whatever that is for now! Meredith is taking pretty much everything in
stride, but anxious to get home. Please pray for continued health for
Carter and for his suck/swallow reflex to kick in soon.
