Church family PLEASE continue to pray for Sara's Mother. Sara came home
last night to attend Josh's Football banquet and she is now traveling back
to Crossett.
Mary Jane has had an infection in her hip since last May. She had hip
surgery and contracted the infection in the hospital. She has had very
strong antibiotics but it has not cleared up the infection. This morning
they attempted to put her on the strongest antibiotic made to go with the
two they are already giving her but was unable to due to the fact that the
antibiotic and the blood pressure medicine they have her on is not
compatible. They can not discontinue the blood pressure medicine. because
the blood pressure continues to fluctuate. Last night Mary Jane's blood
pressure dropped very low (40/17).
She is in a lot of pain from her hip and from a fracture they recently found
in her leg. She is still running a fever and due to this they will only let
her have a light cover so she is very cold. And of course the struggle with
her blood pressure is almost constant. All of this is complicated by the
fact that she is diabetic. At this point all they are able to do is give
her the blood pressure medication, the two antibiotics and keep her as
comfortable as possible.
Sara's dad (better known as Pops) is having a very difficult time and needs
as many prayers as we can send up! please pray for this whole family, they
are very close and are struggling with not being able to help Mary Jane.
Please continue to pray for all the traveling that has to be done by Sara
and her siblings. Also please pray that Mary Jane will be comfortable and
that the doctors will know how to treat her.
