Just wanted to share some of the latest:
a.. Bro. David went to doctor last week who said he wanted them to =
attempt putting weight on his leg again. He is losing some bone density =
due to not doing any weight bearing exercises with it. ( another doctor =
of his was putting off this exercise for different reasons).
b..=20
c.. They will see another doctor this week, and then possibly start =
scheduling some therapy. This will probably be 2-3 days a week at the =
VA hospital.
d..=20
e.. If you would like to visit Bro. David, he loves the company, just =
don't stay so long as to wear him out. Ms. Reba, a nurse, is with him =
during the day and is happy to have someone come visit with him. It =
really does him good to visit with folks. It is best if you can call =
ahead in case he has a doctor's appointment or therapy that day. The =
afternoon is the best time for them, if you want Bro. David up and out =
of bed and in his chair.

g.. Some of his body levels have improved, some are still out of =
"norm". He is feeling much better now, than he did a few weeks ago, =
when his kidneys were having problems. He's got that "David" =
personality/enthusiasm back most of the time. (If you weren't there, he =
was in church Sunday morning, 10/8 and taught a Sunday School class that =
morning).

i.. He will have a Botox injection into the muscle of his injured eye =
very soon, allowing the muscles to relax and allow his eye to go back to =
center. He may still have to have surgery on the eye. They are not =
sure how well the eye will move with the other eye or how much =
peripheral vision he will have, but hope that it will improve his vision =
most of time.
Thank you for caring, for continuing to call and check on him/talk with =
him, the cards and other ways you show your love. He loves to hear from =
you.
Please continue to pray for Bro. David and Margie as the time comes to =
put weight on his legs again. His desire is for God's will be done in =
his life, we just really hope and pray that will include using his legs =
again.
