Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you all so much for your faithfulness in prayer. Ron and I are both b=
ack in Tampa at the moment. Ron's mom is now off the ventilator but remain=
s in a semi-coma. She did open her eyes the night Ron came in and gave him =
a big smile. She occasionally responds appropriately and tries to talk.....=
.but spends most of her time sleeping. The doctors say it will take six mon=
ths for us to know just how much function she will regain. Continue to pray=
with us for healing. Although she is 80 years old she has always been very=
active. She will certainly have to work hard to regain the quality of life=
she would desire. Pray also for the family as there will be many decisions=
to make concerning her care.=20

My dads surgery went well. The tumors were cancerous but the doctors are o=
ptimistic. We're wafting for results of the lymph node biopsy before we wil=
l know if any chemo or radiation will be needed. Unfortunately he has had a=
n adverse reaction to some of the medications he was given and a problem wi=
th the chest tube that was inserted. So he is still in ICU and not progress=
ing as well as expected. Pray with us for healing in his life as well as st=
rength for my mom as she deals with this.

Ron and I are hanging in there. Jet lag and traveling from one hospital to =
another has been a challenge. But God is good and is giving us the strength=
we need. How thankful we are that we were able to get here and be with our=
family during this time. We are staying with my mom at the time and if you=
