> nothing wrong with it and rechecked Brian's hearing.  He has had another 
> devastating loss of hearing in his good ear on the right side.  The 
> hearing aid is absolutely of no help to him.  He was sent  to another 
> specialist in Little Rock who said his only option is to have steroid 
> injections in his right ear.  He said this technique will require him to 
> lay still for 30 minutes after the injection before going home.  There 
> will be one each week for three weeks.  He explained that this is 
> Brian's only option of possibly getting some of his hearing back, and if 
> he waits over a month it will be a permanent loss.  There is no guaranty 
> that it will improve permanently either.  It is very risky with his 
> seizure disorder along with the other medications he's taking, but the 
> risks are cut down some by having it injected directly into the ear
